We’re excited to launch a new program format to bring members together to focus on the future of the industry. Our inaugural event is on November 15 at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest and coincides with the 2022 Annual Meeting.
The Hospitality Minnesota Leadership Forum is intended to periodically engage hospitality leaders in a larger thought-provoking conversation on a topic of crucial relevance to the future health and vitality of the hospitality industry in Minnesota.
Given that workforce recruitment, training and retention are the most significant issues facing the hospitality industry, it is the obvious choice for our first Forum. The conversation will bring together workforce professionals, operators and Hospitality Minnesota’s CEO to focus on demographic trends shaping the future workforce; current and future practices to attract and retain employees; and effective ways to meet evolving worker expectations. The conversation is meant to help inform members’ short- and long-term strategies for building and retaining their strongest workforce.
Panelists include:
- Dr. Eric Guthrie, Senior Demographer, MN State Demographic Center
- Deb Broberg, Executive Director, RealTime Talent
- David Benowitz, Owner, Craft & Crew and HM Board Director
- Liz Rammer, President and CEO, Hospitality Minnesota
Chuck Paton, President of Odyssey Resorts and an HM board member will moderate the conversation between the panel and with the audience.
Registration is $50 for Hospitality Minnesota members and $75 for nonmembers. Members should log in to the Hospitality Minnesota web site to receive member pricing. If you’ve forgotten your password, click on “Forgot your password?” to reset it.
