Doug Karle, Immediate Past Chair of the Hospitality Minnesota Education Foundation presided over the election of four new directors and the re-election of eight incumbents during the HMEF’s Board Meeting on
November 16.
The newly elected directors, joining with 3-year terms, are:
- Melvin Tennant | President & CEO | Meet Minneapolis
- Austin Thull | Area Manager | Aimbridge Hospitality
- Deb Hallbeck | Food & Beverage Director of Operations | Madden’s on Gull Lake
- Sheila Lukonen | Director of Sales and Marketing | DoubleTree St. Paul Downtown (Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures)
The directors re-elected to the HMEF board include:
- Tim Boldt | Regional Manager | Sysco Minnesota
- Tim Devins | Regional Manager | Upper Lakes Foods
- Mary Levinski | Educator | Sauk Rapids-Rice High School
- Polo Navarro | Sales Operations and Enablement Leader | Cargill Foodservice
- Bill Niemer | Instructor | That’s Cooking School
- Keith Reardon | Vice President of Operations | Morrissey Hospitality
- Frank Soukup | Director of Marketing | Cote Family Destinations
- Brandon Supernault | Instructor | Normandale Community College
